Kitchen Reno - Part Three

It's time to get down to buisness. Lets demolish this kitchen!
Remove and protect the appliances, seal off ac vents with plastic, and we are ready for action.

Here is the kitchen after tearing out the cabinets and removing any drywall that had come in contact with mold. Our broken pipe under the sink had caused mold under the cabinets and on the drywall behind the cabinets. In order to sucessfully battle the mold, we removed anything and everything close to the area. We wore protective clothing, masks and eye goggles while handling of it, and dispose of it prpoerly.

Now for the difficult part, time to put it all back together.

Here is a shot of my hubby, finishing installing the new drywall.

Next the cabinets went in.

Then came the sink (along with a disposal, yipee!), paint for the walls and the ceiling, butcher block countertops, cabinet and drawer pulls, appliances, a new light over the sink and other finishing touches.
